Bayonetta 2director Yusuke Hashimoto, daydreaming onTwitter, expressed interest in making some kind ofSpider-Man, or “Spider-Verse,” game.
“If I had to work with an existing IP,” Hashimoto said, “I’d want to make a game in the Spider-Verse. Especially aSpider-Gwengame.”
When I asked what in the wild world of sportsSpider-Gwenis, Chris Carter explained that it’s an alternateSpider-Mancomic wherein past love interest Gwen Stacy gets bitten by a bug and becomes Spider Woman. She’s also in a band with other series love interest Mary Jane, and really I just want to read that comic. According to Chris, the series, “makes Peter Parker a super weirdo male loner nerd that turns himself into Lizard and dies.” Hah.
Anyways, Platinum did develop aLegend of Korragame, so who knows.Spider-Gwenhas some pretty cool art, too.
