Monster Hunter Nowwill soon see its first major update, titledFulminations in the Frost. This update will add several new features to the game, not the least of which are some new monsters to take down and subsequently farm.
The four new monsters inMonster Hunter Now: Fulminations in the FrostareZinogre,Banbaro,Barioth, andRadobaan. These new foes will begin to spawn at either four or five-star difficulty depending on the monster, so new players will need to clear a few chapters of the main story first. Similarly, players can also expect to encounter Cortos and Wulg as new small monsters. These will most likely be easy fodder to farm like Shamos in the current game. You may not even notice they’re new.
Each of these monsters will drop unique materials that can be used to craft unique weapons and armor. We can’t give all the details of the new equipment yet, but we’ll learn more whenFulminations in the Frostlaunches on December 7th.
