It’s both a surprise and a delight to seeDestiny 2turn itsLightfallfailures around withInto the Light, with the community enjoying the new content. The raid boss run mode, Pantheon, has specifically garnered lots of attention, and we even got the world’s firstsolocompletion of it.
Granted, it does take a tad before the fact of the achievement settles in. Indeed, someone has successfully taken down fourDestiny 2Raid bosses one after another, all alone. This achievement goes toDestiny 2YouTuber TheSnazzzyRock, who displayed incredible skill and knowledge in getting this done. Those who’d like to drop some kudos their way can do so by nominating the video forthis week’s MOTW reward, of course.

TheSnazzzyRock gets the world’s first solo Pantheon clear in Destiny 2
More specifically, TheSnazzzyRock juggles about twenty or so different gear load-outs in an attempt to get rid of four fairlychallenging Raid bossesin one go and all alone. The bosses in question are Golgoroth from King’s Fall, the Caretaker from the Vow of the Disciple, the Explicator from the Root of Nightmares, and Atraks-1 from Deep Stone Crypt. For those who are in the know, it should be plainly obvious that what TheSnazzzyRock has accomplished here is nothing short of remarkable.
It’s not uncommon for even relatively experienced full Raid teams to spend up to an hour dealing with some of these bosses if thingsreallydon’t go their way or if they’re not focused on the encounter. Yet, here goes TheSnazzzyRock, wiping out some ofDestiny 2‘s most powerful enemies like they’re little more than a nuisance.

Granted, TheSnazzzyRock took about 70 hours in total to get this done. The video featured above simply cuts out all of the many, manyfailures, as it was too much to attempt a solo flawless clear after all. Congratulations are in order, naturally, especially when it comes to TheSnazzzyRock’s mastery of all the solo Raid clear techniques they display in the video.
Whereas some ofDestiny 2‘s endgame-tier content, such as Dungeons, is specifically designed to be completable solo, this is not the case with Raids at all, which makes TheSnazzzyRock’s accomplishment all the more fascinating.

If you, too, would like to try your hand at playingDestiny 2‘s Pantheon, now’s the time to do it. Bungie previously confirmed thatthe boss run mode is only a temporary addition to the game, and would be sunset with the release of theFinal ShapeDLC, in June. In effect, this meansyou’ve got until June 3to stock up on Pantheon’s exclusive cosmetics, emblems, and the like, as the final day of the DLC’s release will be dedicated to server maintenance and launch-day preparations.
