The Warriors come out to play soon One of gaming’s most unapologetically violent titles,Manhunt, will be making its way to PlayStation 3 next week. It’ll cost $9.99 and should be on PlayStation Network when it updates on May 14, but it’sManhuntand kind of mediocre, so I’m not sure anyone should care about that too much. It’s the other bit of news Rockstar has announced alongside it which is more deserving of special attention....

MC Lars is pretty awesome in my book. His debut album, The Graduate, gets frequent play in my car. AndBayonettalooks pretty damn awesome too. Outworld still nicer than England Warner Bros. has finally announced a U.K. release date for its cinematic adaptation of NetherRealm Studios’Mortal Kombat.As spotted by Eurogamer, the critically panned but financially successful fighting flick will hit U.K. streaming services May 6, at a rental price of £15.99. After facing down several production woes and perpetually shifting dates,Mortal Kombatfinally premiered April 23 in U.S. theaters (or at least those that are currently open) and on paid streaming service HBO Max, which will carry all Warner Bros....

Red Rocket, boy! It seems likeHot Wheels DLCwon’t be the only update coming toRocket Leaguethis month. Just revealed over on the PlayStation blog,Rocket Leagueon PS4 will be receiving a Pro update that enables 4K support. While it’s fair to suggest that the category is hardly considered a “leading” topic in the annual GOTY discourse, it’s not without its charm, having seen some solid winners in its past. 2020 is a little different. 2020 was a year where the general run of up-scaled and re-tweaked classics was replaced by a selection of varied, creative, and both conceptually and critically adored re-imaginings of some of the industry’s most fondly-remembered titles....
