In a conference call today, social gaming megalith Zynga has announced the acquisition of OMGPop, the developer responsible for the wildly popularDraw Somethingfor iOS devices. According to a post at the Wall Street Journal (as reported by Joystiq), Zynga shelled out $200 million for the company whose staff will be joining the Zynga New York studio. Much of what I’ve seen fromFar Cry 3has been centered around either lots of people being violently killed,the concept of insanity, or both. Which is fine, though the open-ended locales have always been what pulled me into the series (and presumably many of you, too).
